The Last Chapter

The Last Chapter

A man finds a secluded bench in a park to read the last chapter of a book. It seems the harder he tries to read his book, the more the World seems to conspire to prevent him from managing it.

Score

Comedy Theme for The Last Chapter (mp3) 5.9MB, 4 min 11 secs. Flute, clarinet and piano with strings and percussion are the ensemble for this happy piece.

Production

This brilliantly funny production was shot in a single day in the recreation ground in Ringwood - considering the amount of dialog, this was a tremendous achievement on a bitterly cold day.

The day chosen for the production just happened to be Remembrance Sunday. The crew and cast had to cope with marching bands, bugle calls, circling helicopters, a junior rugby tournament, and a Westy dog that shuffled silently up to the tripod in the middle of a take and broke wind with a projection and resonance that had the whole cast a crew dissolving into sniggers - CUT!!!
